Mr. Reginald Lawton, 57, of Willington, South Carolina, entered into rest at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 1966 at Abbeville Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Willington Presbyterian Church with Dr. J.B. McFerrin officiating. Interment will be in the Overbrook Cemetery in McCormick, South Carolina. Pallbearers will be Wright Andrews, John McAllister, Pat Hester, R.H. Pettigrew, P.T. Scott, L.S. Brice, James Hemminger Jr. and John Myers. Mr. Lawton was a native of Abbeville County, S.C. and was the son of the late Alexander and Minnie Lee McNair Lawton. He was a member of the Willington Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Maddox Lawton; a daughter, Betty J. Wideman of Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, S.C.; a son, Thomas K. Lawton of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Lou Pratt, Stone Mountain, Ga., Mrs. M.A. Kiss, Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. P.C. Haynie, Asheville, N.C.; three brothers, T.B. Lawton, New York, N.Y., F.C. Lawton, College Park, Ga., and Otto Lawton, Atlanta, Ga., and three grandchildren. Strom Funeral Home, McCormick, S.C.
