Doris June (Hensel) Paul was born to Alfred Benjamin (A.B.) and Pearl (Martin) Hensel in Spokane, Washington. A.B. was a mailclerk survivor of the 1910 Wellington train avalanche at Steven's Pass, Washington. Doris graduated from Central Valley HS as valedictorian. She married Robert Thomas Paul, also of Spokane, in 1951. After living in California for a few years, they raised their two daughters in Federal Way, Washington, where she died in 1973. She is survived by her daughters and their families.
