KENTON, April 27 - Funeral services for A. L. Dycus, 79, of near Forest, will be held at the Hempy and Shields funeral home in Forest Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Valentine Hainen, pastor of the Forest Methodist church, in charge. Burial will be in the Patterson cemetery.

Dycus died late Thursday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Sarah Robinett, of Forest, after an illness of two years of heart disease. He was born in Hancock-co on July 7, 1860, but had resided near Forest for the last 20 years. He was a carpenter and was married to Nancy Hemp who preceded him in death.

Surviving are the sister, three half-sisters, Ms. Addie Young and Mrs. Pearl Cedric, of Dunkirk, and Mrs. Flossie Wolford, of Waterloo, Ind.; one brother, Thomas Dycus, of Waterloo, Ind.; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lydia Dice of Forest and Mrs. Minnie Leslie of Upper Sandusky.
