She was born December 14, 1909 in Caldwell County to the late Avery Columbus and Nancy Lucinda (Lucy) Barlow Icenhour. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers Claude Icenhour, Troy R.Icenhour, Avery Earl Icenhour, and Oscar Icenhour; four sisters: Maude Severt, Pearl Walker, Lilly Belle Pennell, and Vera Icenhour.
Ms. Icenhour was a homemaker and member of Kings Creek Baptist Church. She was a beloved sister and aunt and is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday at Kings Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Goode and Dr. Robert(Bob) Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
