Mrs. Opal Adkins Of Wilkinson Dies; Rites Saturday

Mrs. Opal Reedy Adkins, R. 1 Wilkinson, died Wednesday evening following an illness of several months. She was the daughter of Henry and Nancy (Elsberry) Reedy.
Opal was a lifelong resident of the Wilkinson community and a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star Lodge of Eden.
Suvivors include her husband, Charles Adkins; one son, Larry Adkins, at home; and two brothers: Thomas Reedy of rural Markleville and Guy Reedy of Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the United Brethren Church near Milner's Corner. Reverend Myers, pastor of the church, will officiate with burial in the Glen Cove Cemetery at Knightstown. Friends may call at the Condo Funeral Home in Wilkinson after 8:00 p.m. this evening. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
