Goldie Salzberg Goodman, 85, of the 6400 block of Crescent Way, died May 17, 2002, after a brief illness.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara G. Martin and her husband, Wayne A. Martin of Norfolk; her son, Dr. Stewart H. Goodman and his wife, Jane of Fleetwood, Pa., and Dr. Allan Jay Goodman's wife, Judith B. Goodman of Virginia Beach. She will also be remembered with love and affection by her five grandchildren, Jason D. Martin of Arlington, Jeff Goodman of Concord, N.C., Julie Goodman and her fiancee, John Hawkins of Philadelphia and Adam and Allison Goodman of Virginia Beach. She was predeceased by her husband, Morris Goodman and her son, Dr. Allan Jay Goodman.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Michael E. Panitz. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jewish Family Services, 6465 College Park Square, Suite 400, Virginia Beach, VA 23464. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
