Z.L. BINGAMAN JUL 31, 1925 - MAY 22, 2011 Z.L. Bing'' Bingaman, 85, of Stockton, passed away on May 22, 2011. Born in Arkansas, he grew up in Phoenix, AZ and later moved to California. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II. He worked and retired from Kelly Moore Paint Co. in 1998, as a District Sales Manager. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne. Z.L. enjoyed hunting and was an avid golfer. He was a former member of the Turlock Country Club and the Modesto Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Samantha; children, Thom and Pati of Modesto; step-children, Ashley and Whitney of Stockton; brother, Clifford and Pearl of Arizona; grandson, Ryan Bingaman, serving in the U.S. Army at JBLM, WA; step-grandchildren, Haleigh, Chloe, Zachary, Lucas and Elijah of Stockton; and great-grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew and Lily of WA. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 3409 Brookside Rd., Stockton, CA. Bing was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. (Modesto Bee, Modesto, CA, June 1, 2011).
