Funeral services for Mrs. Precious Jewel Parker, 92, were to be held at 11 a.m. today, Aug. 20, 2002, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. Michael Davis officiating. Burial was to follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley.
Mrs. Parker, a native of Webster Parish and a resident of Sibley, Passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, in Shreveport. She was a retired Webster Parish School Board bus driver.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Bryant Parker.
She is survived by her sons, Wilfred Parker and wife Joy of Heflin, and Raymond Parker and wife Murlene of Sibley; daughter, Marjorie Turner and husband Pratt of Shreveport; sister, Orris Clement of Minden; nine grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
