Mr. J. Earl Williams, age 84 of Kerrville, Texas, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 in a local care center.

He was born April 6, 1928 in Kerrville, Texas, to James Theron Williams and Clara Mae Walker Williams.

On April 7, 1949, he married Fostina Rutherford in Kerrville. Mr. Williams served in the Texas National Guard from 1948-1970. He was a Master Plumber with J.T. Williams Plumbing & Air Conditioning. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include wife, Fostina Williams of Kerrville; daughter, Phyllis Hamilton and husband, Richard of Kerrville; granddaughter, Maron Hamilton of Kerrville; and brother in law, Ronald Rutherford of McQueeney, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Marvin Williams and Carroll Williams.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012, 10 AM at Glen Rest Cemetery officiated by Rev. Mel Hardin and Deacon Mac McCoy.
