Scarlett Bright, age 44, died February 20, 2012 at her residence. She graduated from Clarksdale High School and worked for seventeen years for Penton Media Farm Press of Clarksdale, MS where she was the Market Place Manager.
Scarlett is preceded in death by her father, Hugh Edwards Spears, grandparents, H.M. and Excell Taylor, and grandfather Barney Spears. She is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Eddie Bright, of Clarksdale, MS., sons, Eddie Lynn Bright II, of Clarksdale, MS., Joshua Hugh Bright, of Clarksdale, MS., mother, Patricia Harrington, of Marks, MS., mother-in-law, Pat Bright, of Clarksdale, MS., and grandmother, Sue Bailey, of Oxford, MS.
Visitation Services for Scarlett will be Wednesday, February 22, from 5 til 8 p.m. at National Funeral Home, in Clarksdale, MS. Services will be Thursday, February 23, 2 pm, Church of God, in Clarksdale, MS., with burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sumner, MS.
