Colonel Aldridge Jr. of the US Army served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was at Omaha Beach Normandy on D-Day, June 6, 1944. He received the Silver Star, the Distinguished Service Cross, the Bronze Star, two Legion of Merit awards and ten air medals.
