Staff Sergeant with the 325th Bomb Squadron,
92nd Bomb Group, 8th Air Force, World War II.

Shot down over Germany aboard B-17F Flying
Fortress #42-30803 and crashing near
Frauenberg, 22 miles southwest of Cologne,
Germany. Nine crew members were Killed In
Action, but one survived by parachuting and
was taken as a POW.
