Mr. Robert Bonnie "RB" Plant, 83, of Fayetteville, passed away on November 10, 2011. For 35 years, Mr. Plant was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Tyrone. He was employed with Southern Railway/Norfolk Southern for 43 years.
Mr. Plant was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Barbara Ann Plant. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Cole and her husband Allen of McDonough; grandson Zachary Wilson of McDonough; great-granddaughter Tannah Wilson of Stockbridge; sister Betty Eason of Ellijay; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 2:30PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Billy Rowe and Rev. Dan Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to First Christian Church of Tyrone, 294 Jenkins Road, Tyrone, Georgia 30290.
