It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our son, Austin Michael Rauchman on Sunday, May 20, 2012.

He came into this world already loved by so many on April 27, 2012; his birth was met with great joy and expectation. He had eyes only for his mother, until he heard his father's voice, and he turned searching for him. When he first met his sister, he knew her, too, and turned to look at her face for the first time. He was born with a head full of hair and looked like his daddy. He had the most beautiful cheeks that his mommy couldn't help but eat up. He gave us a lifetime of love in the short time we had him to hold in our arms. He loved to rest in his swing, watch the world through the sliding glass door, snuggle with his mommy, have her rub is ears, and stare into his daddy's eyes.

Austin leaves behind his loving family: parents, Natasha and Brad Rauchman; sister, Alexis Rauchman (5); grandparents, Sharlene and Rock Rauchman, David and Paulette Wald and Dawn and Dean Godejohn; and Great-Grandparents Jerry and Shelia Demaree. He has many aunts and uncles who loved him dearly: Tanya and Robert Cordova, Ashley Wald, Jessica Godejohn, Roxanne Horne, Lori and Rick Zabala and Sara and James Brandenburg. In addition, Austin has eight cousins who loved him dearly.

P.L. Fry is honored to be serving the Rauchman family. A graveside service will be held today, May 24, at 1 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Escalon, Calif.
