He was a member of the New Hope Rd. Church of Christ. He served during WWII in the Army, serving in Europe and North Africa. He was a retired printer with the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He was a former member of the Lakeland and the Yargo Community Concert Bands.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Von and Ruth Riemenschneider, Thomaston and Jay and Terri Riemenschneider, Auburn.
One sister, Bessie Jane Owens, Battle Creek, MI.
Eight Grandchildren and twelve Great Grandchildren survive.
