Mrs. Cora M. (Nell) Hess, 42, wife of J. Monroe Hess, 32 North Diamond Street, died at 11 a.m. yesterday at the West Side Osteopathic Hospital. Death was due to complications.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Laura Nell, of York, and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Webb, 42 North Clinton Street, and Mrs. Robert Sipe, of York. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and Sunday School.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Max G. Anstine Funeral Home, 1701 West Market Street, Rev. Gordon E. Folkemer, acting pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Barrens Cemetery near Dillsburg.
