WANDA HAMILTON
Wanda Loewe Hamilton, 97, of West died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at a Waco hospital. She was born January 8, 1907, in Fayette County, daughter of Gus and Hedwig Schew Muesse. She moved to Hill County in October of 1907. She married Henry William Loewe November 27, 1924. They resided in and around Malone until moving to Hillsboro in 1937. He preceded her in death January 10, 1970. She later married Elmer Hamilton September 4, 1972, and he preceded her in death February 29, 1976. She was also preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters; three sons, Henry Loewe, Wallace Loewe and Bobby Loewe; and one grandson, Gary Loewe. She was a seamstress at Malouf Sewing Room for 20 years and a member of Line Street United Methodist Church of Hillsboro. Survivors include: one son, Dick Loewe of Milford; three daughters-in-law, Jimmie Ruth Loewe and Patsy Loewe, both of Hillsboro and LaVerne Loewe of Plano; six grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2004, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro with Rev. Cathy Bourgoin of Line Street United Methodist Church of Hillsboro officiating.
