He was a deacon at Lindsey Memorial Presbyterian Church, a Mason and a 50-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (AFL-CIO) Local 474. Memphis Funeral Home has charge.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Betty Davis; three sons, Charley F. Davis and Wilbur O. Davis, both of Memphis, and Arthur P. Davis of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two brothers, Clarence R. Davis of Memphis and Jack W. Davis of Heber Springs, Ark., and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Freels of Heber Springs, and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
