He had retired from Warner Gear after 28 years in 1955. Before that he had worked at the Indiana Steel and Wire Co., and as a farmer. He had also been associated with his sons in the plumbing and heating business.
Mr. Trout was a member of the Madison Street Methodist Church and the Warner Gear Sympathy Club.
Survivors include his wife, Glenna; three sons, Paul and Fred, Muncie, and Neal, Auburn; a daughter, Mrs. Warren (Olive T.) Sollars, RR 7; two brothers, his twin, Ray, and Arthur, both of Alexandria; three sisters, Mrs. Bess Wilson, Circleville, Ohio, Mrs. Ellen Mode, Jeffersonville, and Mrs. Edith Wilson, Anderson; 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Meeks Mortuary. Revs. Verlin O. Vernon and Earl Sharp will officiate. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and before services Monday. Entombment will be in the Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
