Sand Springs, July 31--Paul Ward, a Civil War veteran, died at his home west of Tulsa today. He served as a private in Company H, commanded by Lieutenant Hill, in the Fifty-first Illinois Infantry, during the war. The Grand Army of the Republic will have charge of the obsequies, to be held Thursday, with interment at Woodland cemetery here.
