Charles Badgley, a former resident of Mountainside, and born in that place, died Sunday night at his home in South Plainfield. He was in his eightieth year, and was well known to older residents of Westfield and Mountainside.

Funeral services will be held from his late home in South Plainfield tomorrow afternoon, at one o'clock, and Dr. W.I. Steans will officiate. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Badgley's family have lived at Mountainside for generations, and were prominent during the Revolutionary War affairs. He and a brother, who survives him, were familiarly known as the "Badgley Boys."
