Noah Leonard was a shoemaker by trade. He and his wife Bethiah Wetherell lived in Barre and Warwick MA before moving to Keene, NH by 1788. They moved to Glover, VT by 1819. They had 12 children. (Genealogical, Historical, and Biographical, of Solomon Leonard, 1637, of Duxbury and Bridgewater, MA, and Some of His Descendants by Manning Leonard, Press of Knapp, Peck & Thomson, Auburn, NY, 1896)

I discovered that Noah Leonard was an ancestor of mine on my mom's side. He is also a Revolutionary War Patriot and my mom just signed her application to become a DAR member because of that! It is going to take some time, but we are hoping to do a grave marking probably next year, once we get all the permissions.

On 5 Aug 2023, a new patriot's grave marker was unveiled on Noah's grave by the Sukey Hart Chapter and the Saint John de Crevecouer chapters of the Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR). His descendants Dott Margot Johnston and Kim Bryan were present for the ceremony.
