Rose Moran Keller, 74, of Hughesville, died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at the
Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.
Born June 28, 1935, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late John J. and
Myrtle E. Figels Moran. Her husband of 50 years, James R. Keller, preceded her
in death, Aug. 9, 2004.
Rose was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Muncy. She enjoyed
crocheting and giving piano lessons.
Surviving are three daughters, Sherry (Terry Wertman) Fisher of Hughesville,
Terry (Phister) Walker of New Vienna, Ohio, and Teresa (Shane) Bastress of
Watsontown; a sister, Mary Colleen Swisher of Muncy; three grandchildren, Robert
Thompson, Richard "Skip" Thompson and Shawn Fisher; two step-grandchildren,
Chelsa White and Brandi Schraw; three great-grandchildren; and three step
great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by two
sisters and four brothers.
