Henry Lindsay Brown was the third of six children by Henry Brown and Catherine Patterson (dau of Col. Robert Patterson). He was born Dec 3, 1814 and married Sarah Belle Browning Feb. 7, 1837 and died Nov. 25, 1878.

Sarah Belle was born Feb. 18, 1819 and died Oct. 15, 1858.
