Christopher O. "Linebacker" Hopkins, 42, Orestes, passed away Friday, June 24, 2005, at Holzer Medical Center Jackson, Ohio after a sudden illness.
He was born on September 14, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana to George and LaQuieta (Eiler) Hopkins. He was president of the Chosen Brotherhood Motorcycle Club. He is survived by four children, Amber (husband, Riley) Hopkins Guthrie of Anderson, Devon Hopkins of Elwood, Jennifer Hopkins of Connecticut, and Shane Mowrey of Lapel; his father, George Hopkins of Irving, TX; his mother, LaQuieta Hopkins of Anderson; his fiance, Christina McWilliams of Orestes; and six grandchildren, Sahara, Jaden, Akilah, Rylie, Robyn, and Lexi. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Arnett officiating. Burial will be at the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Scott E.
