Edna Hollist Bright, 92, died Saturday, May 15, 2004, of natural causes. Edna was born October 12, 1911, in Avon, Utah, the daughter of John Taylor Hollist and Martha Alvertta Burrell Hollist. She was educated in Utah schools before moving to Wilford. Edna married Charles Artell “Bud” Bright in October 1929. She was a resident of Teton for 72 years. She was actively engaged in various callings within the LDS Church as well as volunteer work. Edna served as Parent Teacher Association president and was elected Idaho Postmaster of the Year in 1983. She was known and respected for he personal attributes, professional skills and her talents as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Kim; a son, Barry; a grandson, Jaren; her parents and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons Dennis (Kaye) Bright of Bountiful, Utah, and Darris Bright of Teton City; a daughter-in-law, Donna of Bountiful, Utah, eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services conducted at the Teton LDS Church. Interment was in Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
