Sandy Justice Waldrop, 62, wife of Johnny Waldrop, died at her home Tuesday, May 22, 2012 following a long illness.
Born in Raleigh, she was the daughter of J. L. and Dessie Beck Justice.
Sandy was a 1967 graduate of Needham B. Broughton High School and was an alumnus of North Carolina State University.
She was employed with Polovick Construction Co., prior to her moving to Greenville in 2003.
Sandy was a fan of Duke University basketball athletics. She was a member of Westover United Methodist Church, Raleigh.
Surviving, in addition to her husband with whom she celebrated 10 years of marriage on May 4th, are her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Sommer Justice of Garner, two granddaughters, Autumn and Hannah Justice of Garner, and a brother, Tommy Justice of Franklinton. Also surviving are her stepson, Steve Waldrop; stepdaughter, Cindy Rampey and her husband Michael; and two stepgrandsons, Tyler and Keaton Rampey, all of Greenville, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Jimmy Justice and Doug Justice.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 1:00pm in the Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville,, SC. Entombment will follow in the Clyde M. Gaffney Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Remembrance Chapel.
