In the early 1900s the Riley family moved to Richland, Montana where Ardath went to school and graduated from Fairview High School May 4, 1927. Her cousin Flora Noteboom was in her graduating class.
She enjoyed drawing, writing poetry and horses. She had many newspaper clippings of poems and kept many of her own written poetry and drawings. She also had a fairly large collection of pictures of family and friends while growing up.
After finishing high school she moved to Los Angeles, California and met Doy James Taylor. They married on May 18, 1929. They had six children together, three of which died in infancy.
Around 1945 she and Doy divorced and she later married Omar Leon Heironimus and had one daughter.
Ardath spent her remaining years in Los Angeles, California passing away at the age of 68, on October 14 1977.
