Clayton G. Beehler

Clayton G. Beehler, age 78, 65760 Dogwood Road, Wakarusa, died at his home Monday, January 25, 1993, where he had lived for 56 years. He was born on May 12, 1914, to Joseph and Anna (Birk) Beehler. On June 14, 1936, he married Fern Pittman in her parent's home. She survives him, with 2 sons, Jerry of Angola and Freddie of Muncie, 1 brother, Clarence of Watervliet, Michigan, and 5 grandchildren. Two sisters, Edna Hartstein and Clara Beehler, and one brother, Eugene, preceded him in death.

Mr. Beehler was a farmer and drove the school bus for 34 years. He was also a Madison Township Trustee for 8 years and a member of the Madison Township Lions Club. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Rieth Rohrer Ehret Lienhart Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Missionary Church and performed by Pastor David Edwards. Mr. Beehler will be buried in South Union Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Oak Grove Missionary Church or Madison Township Lions Club.
