Clint Haynes Hunter was born March 19, 1952 in Paris Texas to Clint and Wilma Hunter and passed into his heavenly Father's arms on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Haynes graduated from Coronado High School, attended Texas Tech University and proudly served his county in the US Army from 1972 to 1974. Haynes was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was fortunate to work in the industry he loved for over 25 years and enjoyed the time he worked at Graves Harley Davidson of Lubbock as the Parts manager. In later years he worked for Performance Marine before his retirement in 2011. Haynes never met a stranger and made many lifelong friends in his travels across America. He loved boating, fishing, and spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Rocky. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Kay Hunter; his mother, Wilma Haynes Hunter; sister, Vicky Raymond; niece, Melanie White; Helen's children, Keith Lutrick, Kathryn LaMorte (John), Amee Minton (Tom); and five step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Clint Hunter. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Donald Quick, Dr. Jose Cruz, the staff of JACC and Covenant Bone Marrow Unit/5North for the compassionate care shown to Haynes during his 13 year battle with leukemia.
