Pete was born to Giuseppe 'Joe' and Carmella Cascio Pisciotta in Pueblo, Colorado. He was raised with 6 brothers and 2 sisters....Domenico 'Domenic', Giacomo 'Jacob', Giuseppa 'Josephine', Giacomo 'Jack', Gaetano 'Tony', Martina 'Martha', Salvatore Rusilino 'Samuel Russell', and Giuseppe 'Joseph'.

Giacomo 'Jacob' died when he was a year old; and Giuseppe 'Joseph' died when he was 2 days old.

Pete met and married Ella M. Vujcich June 7, 1933 in Canon City, Fremont County, Colorado. They had 2 daughters and a son. When Ella died in 1977, Pete married a second time, to Marjorie Lorraine Otto, March 7, 1981 in Pueblo.

Pete A. Pisciotta - Pueblo Chieftain - May 04, 2006 - Pete A. Pisciotta, 95, prominent Avondale farmer and cattle feeder, born April 7, 1911, entered eternal life on May 2, 2006. Survived by son, Joe D. (Marilou) Pisciotta; daughters, Carmella (Frank) Jordan, and Pat (John) Klomp; grandchildren, Lynda (Randy) Loyd, LouAnn (Tom) Curran, Joey (Jennifer) Pisciotta, Larry (Joan) Jordan, Gary (Peggy) Jordan, Debbie (Adam) Schindler, Mike Klomp, Michele (Rick) North, and Kim (Carlos) Sandoval; great-grandchildren, Nicole Loyd, Trevor and Brandon Curran, Michaella and Anthony Pisciotta, Adam (Michelle Spirich) Jordan, Dalton and Anna Jordan, Austin and Broc Schindler, Mitchell and Sarah Klomp, Josh and Mark North, and Karly and Kelsi Sandoval; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his wives, Ella Vujcich Pisciotta and Marjorie Roebuck Pisciotta; parents, Guisseppi and Carmella Pisciotta; brothers, Dominic, Jack, Tony and Sam Pisciotta; and sisters, Josephine Saccomanno and Martha Chimento. Pete gave many years of service to several organizations including The Colorado Cattle Feeders Association, The Colorado and National Cattlemen's Association, The National Sugar Beet Growers Association of Pueblo County, The Bessemer Ditch Irrigation Company, The Pueblo County Rural Fire District, The Avondale/Vineland Lions Club, Elks Lodge No. 90, and The Toastmasters Club. Pete provided for his family by dedicating his entire life to farming and cattle raising. He had a strong work ethic, an unbreakable moral character and a passion to work the soil. His greatest joy was to spend time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends during viewing, 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of food and flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Pete's memory.
