Delores Thelma Edmonds Catlett, 66, Glenwood Way, died at 9:01 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at her home of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Virginia Street Baptist Church with the Rev. M.O. Fort officiating. Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 tonight at Gamble Funeral Home.

A native of Fairview, she was born April 14, 1936, the daughter of the late Harry L. and Elsie Russell Meriweather. She was a former licensed practical nurse at Western State Hospital and at the University Hospital in Louisville. In addition, she was the former owner of the Delores Boutique Gifts and Things and was active in the United Way. She was a member of the Virginia Street Baptist Church where she was a member of the senior choir, the Dorcas Missionary Society and was assistant teacher for the ladies Bible class.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Catlett; two sons, Kenneth McLay, LaPort, Ind., Adell McLay, Hopkinsville; four daughters, Nadine Smith and Shelia Settles, both of Hopkinsville, Renee Lovelace, louisville, Sherry McCoy, Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Arletta Trice, Hopkinsville, Mary Alice Petrie, Fairview; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
