They moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1924. Rose Mary was student body president at IHM Academy and graduated in 1937. She married Roy John Jessick on Sept. 21, 1946, in Coeur d'Alene. They had three children, Frank, Lucille Bradshaw, both of Coeur d'Alene and David of Vancouver, Wash. Her husband, Roy preceded her in death in 1969 at the age of 53.
She worked at Potlatch Forest Industries during World War II. After Roy passed away, Rose Mary worked at Commercial Printing and North Idaho College as a clerk in the library for 18 years.
After retiring she was an active member of Rambling Rovers and St. Thomas Altar Society. She baked many funeral cakes and was known as the divinity lady. She also volunteered at the Coeur d'Alene Senior Center.
Rose Mary is survived by her sister; Lois Derrick of Salem, Ore.; her three children; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
