He was born at Freeport in Wirt County, a son of the late Charles and Belle Enoch Trout. He was a long-time member of the North Parkersburg Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945 in World War II, and had been a member of the United Commercial Travelers for 47 years. He was retired from Universal Glass after 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Audra Richardson Trout; one daughter, Carolyn Vine of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michelle, Amy and Michael Vine, Jr., all of Dayton, Oio; two brothers, Cecil Trout and Wade Trout of Parkersburg; and one sister, Virginia Porter of Parkersburg. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Don, Foster, and Oren Trout.
Services were held Monday afternoon at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with the Rev. Conrad Lowe officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery North.
