Johannes Quenzer, husband of Magdalena Brockel and son of Karl and Rosina (Schroth) Quenzer was born September 09, 1884, at Gueldendorf, South Russia. He was married to his now mourning wife Magdalena Brockel. Four children, two sons and two daughters were born to this union. One son preceded his father in death.
Mr. Quenzer became ill with the flu about eight days before his death. Medical attention could not curb the illness, therefore he died October 30, 1921, at 6:00 a.m., having reached the age of 31 years, one month and 21 days.
He leaves to mourn his elderly father and mother, an extended family of 11 brothers and six sisters.
The funeral service was conducted Friday, November 01, 1921, from Gnadenfeld Baptist Church northeast of Mound City, South Dakota.

Magdalena married (2) November 21, 1923, to Henry Schmidt.
Magdalena born April 07, 1892, at Mound City, South Dakota, died October 19, 1955, in Bottineau County, North Dakota.
