This is my Grandpa on my Maternal side whom raised me (Mary K Barr). He was born in PA to Elmer Russell & Grace Laura Greggerson Barr. He was the eldest of 2 children. He was in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He married Margaret Ann Wells on 31 May 1954 in East Springfield, Jefferson Co., OH. They have lived in OH, IL, MI, TX & Warsaw, Kosciusko Co., IN where they finished raising their youngest & raised their oldest Granddaughter (me). Everybody called Frank, Grandpa or Mr. B. & he always helped everybody. He loved to garden, wood work & grill!!!!He passed in Luthern Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN of old age & COPD. He is greatly missed by all!!!
*NOTE: The wrong death date of Dec 27,2008 was on the death certificate. I was right next to Grandpa at Luthern Hospital alog with the whole family the day after Christmas, so I have added the correct date to this memorial.
