Funeral services for Suvreine H. Weyers, Pella, who died at the Mercy Hospital, Oskaloosa, August 13, were held Tuesday afternoon, August 16, at the Garden Chapel funeral home, Pella, with Rev Thomas Boslooper officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Casketbearers were Howard Halverson, Harry Weyers, Carl Weyers, Keith Weyers, William Hoover, and Lloyd White. Mrs. Jake Monster was organist.
Mr. Weyers, the son of Herman and Marie Synhorst Weyers, was born on a farm east of Pella, October 14, 1872. He was married to Lucy Je1sma, January 13, 1897, at Pella, and to this union four children were born.
Survivors besides his wife Lucy, are Mrs. Marie Ver Steeg, Pella; Bert, Pella: Ted, Newton; and John, Perry; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; and one brother, Dick, of Knoxville.
