WENDELIN GEORGE KUNTZ
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 1995, in Ascension Catholic Church, where he was a member. Recitation of the rosary is 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Gable--Parkrose Funeral Chapel. Mr. Kuntz died of cancer Feb. 20 at age 74. He was born July 30, 1920, in Glen Ullin, N.D. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he worked 31 years as a warehouseman for Cotter Co., retiring in 1975. He married Stella McKay in 1948. In addition to his wife, survivors include brothers, Tony of Portland, Chris of North Dakota and Albert of California; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Interment in Lincoln Memorial Park. Remembrances: American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements: Gable-Parkrose Funeral Chapel. (The Oregonian, 23 Feb 1995)
