John F. Trevillyan, Sr., 62, of Des Moines died April 8, 2002, at home. A memorial service was held Friday, April 12, at Dunn's Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial of the cremains was Saturday, April 13, at Lorimor Cemeery.
John Trevillyan, Sr. was born Sept. 29, 1939, in Des Moines to Richard E. and Bertha M. (Reel) Trevillyan. A resident of Des Moines for the past 30 years, he had grown up near Lorimor. John was a retired customer engineer for IBM. He also had been employed by Auto Body Supply. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Norwalk and the First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Merry Ann (Smith) Trevillyan.
