Mr. Foreman was born near Truro Sept. 1, 1876, and spent his entire life in Madison and Union counties. He was a son of John and Nancy Martin Foreman.
He was married Oct. 12, 1905, to Nancy M. Cornelison. They were parents of three children. The wife and mother died in 1931. On Sept. 4, 1935, he was married to Alta Brown, who survives him.
In addition to his wife; he leaves three children, Mrs. Olli Van Rossum and Mrs. Wilma Goodman of Winterset, and Dale Foreman of Macksburg; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret McCall of Des Moines and Mrs. Mary Sullins of Escondido, Calif.
