Funeral services for Thomas C Glover, 70, 907 West Montgomery Sheffield will be conducted Sunday at 2:30PM at Southside Baptist church Sheffield, with Arthur S Byars officiating. Burial will follow in Sheffield Oakwood with Brown Service of Tuscumbia in charge.
Mr Glover died at Franklin county Nursing Home at 12:50AM Friday after a lengthy illness.
He was a retired iron worker.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Juanita Glover, two sons Preston Glover, Colbert Heights and Lloyd Glover of Sheffield, eight daughters, Mrs Annie Bell Rivera, Chicago, Mrs Helen Speegle Sheffield, Mrs Beatirce Barnes, Lenior city Tennessee, Mrs Mary Akright Michigan, Mrs Martha Macahig and Mrs Jewell Narmore El Monte, California, Mrs Shirley Bozeman, Athens, Mrs Ramona Ford, Leighton, four brothers clyde Glover and Lisburn Glover of Florence, Newton Glover, Cordova, Alabama, two sisters Mrs Annie Pearl Snoddy and Mrs Hallie Williams Elgin Crossroads community, 22 grandchildren nd three great grandchildren.
The body will be at the home of his son Lloyd Glover 503 Pittsburg Avenue Sheffield until time of her Service,
