HENRY N. ABATE, 70, of Cape May Court House, died Friday, September 22, 2000 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Cape May Court House for 30 years. A Veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Abate was the owner of the Delsea Bike Shop of Dias Creek.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marylou (nee Pelstring); son, Philip and his wife, Kim of Town Bank; daughter Louise Olden and her husband, Tim of Erma; one sister, Virginia DePaulis of Upper Darby, PA; three loving grandchildren: Jennifer, Jarrett and Christopher.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 1:30P.M. at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, where friends may call from 12:00-1:30p.m. Burial will follow at Cape May Court House. Contributions in his memory may be sent to: Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9, Swainton, NJ 08210.
