Robert William Hoag was born Nov. 4, 1928 in Weston, Missouri to Roy Memory Hoag & Alice Julaney Leavitt Hoag. They moved to Leavenworth, Kansas by the time he was 2 years old. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on Feb. 13, 1946 at Fort Leavenworth. He was stationed for a time at U.S. Military Academy at West Point in New York, possibly a security detail. This is when he met & married his first wife, June Morgan, they had a son, Robert M. Hoag. They divorced a few years later, but remained friends. He then married his 2nd wife, Theresa "Terri" Daigle and had 2 daughters, Barbara Ann and Diane. He then married Donna Jo Crews and had 3 children, Donna Fay, Jimmy Roy & Lisa Marie. He later married Leola McDuffie and had 2 daughters, Lena Kay & Lana Renee. On Dec. 16, 1977 he married his first love, Susy Elizabeth "Liz" Spikes Mancil in Brunswick Georgia. Liz predeceased him in Jan. 2006. Bob had the following siblings, Roy Eugene Hoag, Delores Hoag, James Donald Hoag, Dorothy Hoag, Richard Lee Hoag, Darlene Smith & Donna Joe Smith. Bob died on Nov. 19, 2006 in Brunswick, Georgia. Bob loved his children and his grandchildren. He loved to go hunting, fishing and was always camping. And he could make some wine.
