Wife of Sulo "Sid" Koski

LEOMINSTER -- Olive R. (Blair) Koski, 77, of 2 Debbie Drive, a former stitcher, died Friday, Oct. 19, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- University campus after a short illness.

Her husband of 47 years, Sulo "Sid" Koski, died in 1993. She leaves two daughters, Nancy and Deborah, both of Leominster; two grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Blair and Ernest Blair; two sisters, Dorothy Norris and Myrtle Bliss; many nieces and nephews; and a longtime friend, Melanie Mericle of Ayer. She was born in Shirley, daughter of William and Lena ( DeVarney ) Blair, and lived the past 40 years in Leominster.

Mrs. Koski worked as a stitcher and seamstress at several local companies, including George Frost Co., Shirley, R&M Manufacturing, Leominster, and Charlton Inc., Leominster. She enjoyed country music and bingo.

The funeral service will be at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the funeral home.
