Funeral services for Mrs. W. T. Wingo, 64, who died at her home Monday night, were held at Bratcher Moore chapel Wednesday morning and the body then taken to Oakland cemetery at Dallas for interment.
The Rev. Dr. H. C, Henderson conducted the funeral service. Mrs. Wingo was born June 2, 1884 In Tarrant county. She was married to Mr. Wingo in 1902. Before she was stricken with illness several years ago Mrs. Wingo was active in the Waples Memorial Methodist church, the Pythian Sisters, Woodman Circle, Women's Benefit Association, the Auxiliary to the Spanish-American War Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Heer of Dallas; two sons, W. T. Wingo, Jr., of Denison and Major Charles Wingo, stationed in Yokohama, Japan; her mother, Mrs Annie Freeman; two sisters, Mrs. B. F. Lacy and Mrs. A. J. Groff of Dallas; a brother R. J. Greeman, Dallas, and four grandchildren, Billy Wingo, Roger and Marilyn Wingo and Ronnie Heer.
