Bobbie Jean Goodloe Cook - a 73 year-old native of Mobile and a resident of Saraland passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at a local hospital. She was a lifelong member of Fountain of Life Church (Prichard Assembly of God).
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Henry Wilson Cook; mothers, Louella Elizabeth Goodloe and Mary K. Goodloe; father, Turner S. Goodloe, Sr.; and brother, Turner S. Goodloe, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Thomas) Guy and Katherine (David) Empfield of Saraland, Timothy (Theresa) Cook of Mobile, Pamela Batley of Chickasaw, and Tina (Jess) Savell of Axis; sister, Mary Ann (Bobby) Davis of Tillman's Corner; nine grandchildren, Scott Guy, Mike Guy, David Empfield, Jr., Daniel Empfield, Kristen Empfield, Garrett Batley, Shane Batley, Michelle Masters, and Isabella Savell; six great-grandchildren, Corey Bader, Brandon Guy, Hope Masters, Faith Masters, James Masters, and Aidyn Batley; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from Fountain of Life Church on Friday, January 11, 2008 beginning at 12 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Pkwy., Saraland, AL 36571.
