Mrs. Day was born Dec. 19, 1930, in Brushy Run, Onego and was the daughter of the late Titus Bland and Margie Mallow Bland.
She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Roy Jacob Day, preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1999.
Survivors include a son, John Day of Petersburg; three brothers, Foster Bland and Gar Bland, both of Onego, and Glen Bland of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Scott and Jamie Day; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler and Cole Day and Peyton Harrison.
The Rev. Roger Harrison will conduct the funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Burial will be at North Fork Memorial Cemetery in Riverton.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancers Society or Seneca Rocks Volunteer Fire Department.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
