ASH FLAT — Treva K. Haskins, 94, of Ash Flat died today, May 23, 2012, in an Ash Flat nursing home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ash Flat Church of Christ. Burial will be in Haskins Cemetery at Ash Flat under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.

ASH FLAT — Treva Haskins, 94, of Ash Flat died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in an Ash Flat nursing home.

Born Jan. 14, 1918, at Ash Flat, she was the daughter of Elmer and Phoebia Barnes Kissinger. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren and helping others. She was a member of Ash Flat Church of Christ, where she worked for many years in the church's clothing benevolent room.

Survivors include a son, Jack Haskins of Ash Flat; two daughters, Pat Carmack of Heber Springs and Joann Pierce of Ash Flat; six grandchildren, Leigh Ann Pierce of Cave City, Alan Haskins and Lynn Haskins, both of Walnut Ridge, and JoBeth Mathis, Rick Carmack and David Carmack, all of Jonesboro; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Haskins; an infant son, Charles Dale Haskins; an infant daughter, Henrietta Haskins; a brother, Jewell Kissinger; and a sister, Irene Hudson.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ash Flat Church of Christ. Burial will be in Haskins Cemetery at Ash Flat under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are Kathy Haskins, Ron Carmack and the staff of Ash Flat Healthcare and Rehab Center.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the church.

Memorials may be made to Conway Human Development Center, 150 Siebenmorgen Road, Conway, AR 72032 in honor of Brett Carmack.
