Abigail Grace Ricker

Died: March 3, 2011

Abigail Grace Ricker, infant daughter of Stacie L. Shipley, went home to be with Jesus Thursday at Niswonger Children's Hospital in Johnson City.

Her mother stated, "She was a blessing that God allowed me to carry. Her purpose will come to pass as she rests with Jesus in his rocking chair."

Survivors also include her half-brothers: Malachi Praise Shipley and Jacob B. Tweed; grandparents: Debra Rednour and Jeff Ricker, and Randy and Tamara Tweed; great-grandparents: Donnie and Gladys Ricker and Francis Rednour; uncles: Matt Ricker, Jacey Jo Ricker, Daniel Hal Tweed, and Trevor W. Tweed; aunts: Chenoa Ricker and Dyani Ricker; and special friends at Grace Fellowship and New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist churches.

The family will be celebrating her life with a private graveside service in River Hill Cemetery. Pastor Jim Bunch will officiate.

Michael McKinney will be a pallbearer.

Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
