Helen Lucyle (Noble) Chappell, 84, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012, at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. Lucyle was born December 21, 1927 in Cone, Texas to the late Jefferson Russell and Ruth (Davis) Noble. She married Hoyt Chappell on March 22 1945, in Cone; he preceded her in death on April 2, 1990. They made their home in Crosbyton where they raised their three children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Chappell and two brothers, Bob Noble and Max Noble. She is survived by her two sons, Russell Chappell and his wife Peachy of Mansfield Texas and Gene Chappell and his wife Carolyn of Crosbyton; one daughter, Lenoir Randle and her husband Joe of Corinth Texas; two brothers, Wade Noble and Bailey Noble; two sisters, Grace Harvey and Betty Oats; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
